Announcement and First Call for Abstracts for

　　The First International Forum on Young Children and Sport

　　May 9 – 12, 2018（Beijing, China）

　　Host by the Research Centre for Gender, Children, Sport and Society of Peking University

　　1. Introduction

　　The first ten years of life course are crucial for future lifestyle and quality of life. Physical activity and sport are widely acknowledged to play an important part in ensuring children’s healthy and all-around development.  Physical activity and sport for young children have attracted more and more attention and generated great interest from academic, business and sports communities. Against this background, the First International Forum on Young Children and Sport will be staged in Peking University on May 9-12, 2018. Under the Theme “All around development of young children through sport”, the Forum is aimed to promote the development of sport for young children, to promote quality research on sport for children, and build a bridge for cultural and academic exchanges between China and other nations.

　　The Forum will consist of plenary presentation，panel discussion，sub-theme presentation，poster, workshop and demonstration as well as site visit to local kindergartens in Beijing.  The Forum language will be English and Chinese.

　　Experts and scholars from China and other countries are welcome to register and submit abstracts to the Forum within the following areas：

　　1）policy on sport for young children

　　2）theories and research on sport for young children

　　3）organization and pedagogy of sport for young children

　　4）design and creation of environment for sport for young children

　　5）safety and legal issues of sport for young children

　　6）teacher training and management in the field of sport for young children

　　7）technology and equipment and facilities of sport for young children

　　8）other related issues

　　Deadline for the abstract submission is March 31, 2018. The length of abstract is maximum 1000 word in English. Please send your abstract to the email box：youertiyu@126.com. The organizing committee of the Forum will invite experts in the field to evaluate the submitted abstracts and announce the names of oral and poster presenters by April 10, 2018.

　　关于举办2018年北大首届国际幼儿体育高层论坛的通知

　　幼年是生命历程中的奠基阶段，对未来的生活方式和生活质量产生重大影响。而体育在幼儿的全面成长中起到不可替代的作用，幼儿体育近年来成为国际社会和学界日益关注的话题。为响应国家关于建立教育强国的号召，推动我国幼儿体育的发展，增进我国与其他国家的交流，为幼儿体育搭建国际协作平台，北京大学妇女儿童体育研究中心将携手国际幼儿体育协会于2018年5月9日-12日在北京大学举办以“全面育人”为主题的“首届国际幼儿体育高层论坛”。

　　本次论坛将邀请来自美国、德国、英国、芬兰、日本、韩国、中国台湾和大陆的知名学者和专家从幼儿体育的政策、理论、实践、国际趋势等多方面进行专题报告和对话，邀请与幼儿体育相关的政府、高校和科研机构、幼儿园等机构负责人参会，同时开展幼儿体育嘉年华等实操性活动，围绕幼儿体育实施过程中面临的重点问题展开多层次、多视角的辩论，为幼儿体育的未来发展指明方向，搭建国际协作平台。

　　具体要求及安排如下：

　　一、论坛安排：

　　1. 论坛时间：2018年5月9日-12日

　　2. 论坛地点：北京大学

　　3. 论坛主题：全面育人的幼儿体育

　　4. 论坛组织单位：

　　主办单位：北京大学妇女儿童体育研究中心

　　合作单位：国际幼儿体育协会（IASAPYC）

　　论坛还将邀请中央和地方的部分政府教育和体育部门、行业协会、师范类院校、科研单位、杂志媒体等机构作为合作单位。

　　5. 论坛参会人员：全国各地教育局和体育局局长、学前处处长、幼儿园园长、师范类院校和科研单位负责人等250位管理者。

　　6. 论坛日程：详见附件1。

　　7. 论坛费用：会议费1580元/人，食宿交通费用自理。

　　二、报名事宜：

　　1．参会名额：限250个名额，仅限各地区的教育局和体育局、协会、高校和科研单位、幼儿园园长报名参会。

　　2．报名截止日期：2018年3月31日。

　　三、论文和案例报送事宜

　　1．论文报送

　　论坛向国内外征集幼儿体育相关的研究论文。国内学者需同时报送中英文摘要，摘要长度英文不超过1000字，中文不超过800字，按照以下主题递交论文摘要：

　　● 幼儿体育政策

　　● 幼儿体育理论研究

　　● 幼儿体育组织教学

　　● 幼儿体育环境创设

　　● 幼儿体育安全和法律责任

　　● 幼儿体育教师培训和管理

　　● 幼儿体育器材研发和使用

　　● 其他与幼儿体育相关的问题

　　论坛组委会将邀请幼儿体育专家作为评委，对递交的论文摘要进行评选，选出特等奖3名和优秀奖6名，并在《幼儿体育文摘》（双语）杂志上刊登。入围的论文摘要作者将获邀在论坛上进行报告或墙报交流，参会费用自理。论坛结束后， 组委会还将推荐优秀论文到国内正式刊号的期刊上发表。请有意发表者在报送摘要的同时提交论文全文,论文格式按照《体育科学》征稿格式要求撰写。

　　2．全国优秀幼儿体育案例视频评选

　　本次论坛设“2018年国际优秀幼儿体育案例”奖，案例采取视频形式，不超过3分钟。论坛组委会将邀请幼儿体育专家作为评委，对递交的视频进行评选，选出特等奖3名和优秀奖6名。论坛结束后，组委会将推荐优秀视频到合作媒体上发布。请有意参加评选的幼儿园将申报材料发送至youertiyu@126.com，邮件标题写明“北大国际论坛案例申报-单位-姓名”。截止日期：2018年3月31日。
